Ohio’s Native American History
The Litchfield Historical Society invites all to join historian John Pekarcik on Monday, October 15th at 7:00 pm in the Litchfield Town Hall as he discusses the historical contributions of Ohio’s Native Americans. Learn through this interactive presentation how natives from cave man to mound builder worked, hunted, played, fought and lived. The program is free, and no registration is required.

Litchfield Township is holding its 6th annual community-wide garage sale Thursday, July 16-Sunday, July 19, 9 am-5 pm daily.
The cost for each sale address is $10. This is a donation to the Girls Ministry at Litchfield Assembly of God Church to pay for all ads for this event.
Maps are also made and distributed to each shopper with each sale address to ensure that no sales sites are missed.

Send the $10 donation and information to Krystal Hartshorn, 9082 Norwalk Road, Litchfield, OH 44253.
To help avoid mistakes, Krystal will send a rough draft of the map to each participant to review by July 12. Please contact her with any revisions or corrections. The maps will be ready for distribution on July 15.

Friday Night Ice Cream Socials, 6:30-8:30pm, Litchfield Circle Park
It’s a summer Friday night tradition in Litchfield: various organizations take responsibility for making and serving refreshments including hot dogs, chili dogs, sloppy joes, chips, ice cream, pies and cake, pop and coffee. A few picnic tables are available, but you are welcome to bring a lawn chair or a blanket. The town band starts to play about 7:30 pm. Activities for children are provided. Bring the family and have a fun time.
